A nice big hotel and that's the downfall of it....u start cleaning from one end and by the time u reach the other end ,the starting point is dirty again.... though we stayed here with family,it is basically used for conferences or marriages.... luckily they weren't holding any of these when we were there....food is good and breakfast has good variety....the beach lies at one end of the hotel though a bit dirty.....pool is nice ....overall okay but its hugeness is its problem..

Terrible is also an understatement for this property. The property has left such a bitter taste, that I am really questioning the authenticity of travel portals now. Everything that could go wrong, has gone wrong. 1. I had put in a request for early check - in since my train was reaching at 4 am and I was traveling with aged parents and 4 year old child. There was no communication from the hotel at all. So when we reached, they refused to give us a room sighting full occupancy. The moment I said I was ready to pay, very conveniently they could arrange for a room. We decided to wait in the decrepitated room for a few hours. Paid 4500 for a mere 4 hours in a ROOM..the AC did not work. The washroom had no ventilation. On top of that, they did not even provide complimentary breakfast with this room(2 pax should have been ideally). So we paid for the breakfast since our check in was on the 14th. 2. We booked for 3 twin sharing rooms. They could not provide even one. So we accepted the double bed rooms. 3. We had a last minute extra guest, so I requested for another room; which again, was not available. But the moment I said I will take a Platinum Suite Room, they funnily had 3 available . So, we took one Suite room with an extra bed with additional price. 4.None of the rooms are maintained. It looks like things will start falling apart any moment. Quite the opposite of how it looks from outside. 5.Website says Private Beach and only at the time of check in you get to know you can't swim there. You can just walk to the beach. 6. Approach to the beach - you are greeted with a foul, putrid smell which is absolutely uninviting. When you reach the edge of the property, you will find a bare staircase which is not at all accessible by aged people or kids. There is garbage/litter everywhere and you will just not want to step into that. 7.Swimmimg Pool is dirty and you are bound to get a skin infection! Filtration does not work. 8. Food is average. But if you are looking for authentic bengali or odiya cuisine, please head out elsewhere. 9. Entrire hotel staff is either not trained or has no idea of service quality. Including the Front Office Manager, Pintu. They are RUDE, ARROGANT, NON - CO OPERATIVE and completely USELESS. 10. Check Out - Thanks to their carelessness, I would have missed my train. As expected, they refused to give us a few extra hours for check out unless I agreed to pay another 6000 for 3 hours. They expected us to roam around the town in this heat with a 4 year old and showed no empathy. When we were ready to check out and at the counter, no bills or supportings were ready, even after half an hour heads up. Then they mixed up bills from other rooms. Some were not signed, even. There was a chaos at the desk, with 3 clueless front office executives. All this while, the FOM was nowhere to be found. There is not a single positive experience that we had in the hotel. NOT WORTH THJE MONEY AT ALL!!! My earnest request would be to de list this property from all the travel portals.

The visit was awesome and specially the stay at hotel was very comfortable and specially the food was very very tasty and the service was very courteous and specially bipin and liza were very sincere and served us very well. We would definitely recommend others to come and stay here for lovely hospitality

Pathetic place to stay and host any event

Worst place to stay and host any event. The resort is full of mosquito. Very poor quality of staff. If you are planning any event in Chariot please think a 100 times before booking the place. They have caused extreme level of inconvenience. We booked the resort my sister's wedding and just 15 days before the wedding they denied to allow the event company that we have booked for the event, even though the event team was empanelled with the resort at the time of booking. And we were not informed on this by the resort. On the days of events the resort has so maintanence, all our guests were having red faces because of mosquito bites. Swimming pool was also dirty. Overall not even a ok experience with the resort.
